@@franjablonski7674​​⁠we are in post Vfx and sound now, so it’ll likely be streaming late next year, with any luck! Where do you live? We are having a public premiere in Vancouver and I’m taking it up n tour at small theatres next year.

@@ChadCosten I live west of Milwaukee Wisconsin USA There are a few old small theaters there. The Oriental Theatre, Pabst Theatre, and The Eagles Club. ( I'm getting older & not sure if they are ALL up for business) Plus I believe the University has one too. But the Eagles Club has bands there still, plus perhaps more I'm not remembering at the moment. The Oriental was very cool in my youth to go see concerts/ big bands, but the Pabst was very elegant and cushy!! Red velvet seats!! 💞😊

@@ChadCosten also the Riverside theatre from my youth in Milwaukee has been redone inside as well. There are several others too collectively calling " The Pabst Theater 🎭 Group" Several others I'm not familiar with, perhaps their original names have changed and redecorated/updated/ New Ownership. But I'm not a Guide of sorts on the Theater subject. Lol but a very lively presence in older times, and now renewed in new possibilities. The City as a Ballet 🩰, a Symphony, and lively performing Arts of many scales.

Me too! Wes Ball is a solid Director, so fingers crossed. I am just praying that they lean into the heart and charm of Zelda and don't try to go GoT with it. That would be an epic mistake. I think the real right person to have directed it would be someone like Taika Waititi. But I suppose everyone has their own vision and I really appreciate you watching and sharing mine. =)

Now that hope for the sequel seems to be crushed, I'm tempted to finish my own feature screenplay sequel and maybe pursue it as a graphic novel or pitch as a short series. There's SO much potential, it's a shame that the Last Starfighter legacy may die. =(

Thanks so much for watching and for the comment! Definitley would have done a lot differently if I had to do it another time around... which I hope I never do. Was the most challenging project of my life and I nearly quit filmmaking. lol. Which means it means a lot to me that anyone would watch and take the time to think about my first movie. What an amazing comment to read on a day when I'm feeling a little down about the epic and lonely journey of making indie films. Thank you SO much! This really turned me around and it is amazing to discover that someone appreciates the work that goes into making things on your own with very little to work with. This movie was 100% credit cards and grassroots fundraising. And I did the same - no drones - built a 20 foot "crane" out of 2x4's and used bed sheets for rear projection in the car scenes, shot inside a barn, etc. It's so fun figuring out how to make the movie magic happen, but this first feature took so much out of me I almost never made another movie. Thankfully it opened a few doors and I've been able to keep making shorts and on to my second feature now, which is in post-production. Thanks for taking a look and I can't wait to see what you're cooking up with nothing but determination and creativity! Send me a link when you've got something to share, especially if you're after feedback. All the best! =)
